What to Wear to Fall Festivities

It’s October! I feel like this is one of my favorite times of year because how amazing the weather  is. In my opinion, you get to wear beautiful dresses with flattering jackets, you aren’t freezing and there are usually all of these fun activities happening like pumpkin picking, orchards, Oktoberfests/winery things etc. The list goes on. I also feel like people are around more and it is a really great time to catch up with friends you haven’t seen over the summer since many are traveling or always down at the beach.

My go-to attire for  these types of outings  is always a little boho inspired, but also a little farm-y (?) is that a word? I think I mean folky. That’s better.

I paired a fun fall floral from Old Navy (I consider “fall florals” a print with a dark background and warm colored flowers) with the perfect cargo inspired jacket. The color is amazing and I love the high collar – it makes it look so much more cool. Also…this jacket also comes in SO many different colors and is currently on sale for $25!

Don’t be afraid to mix and match printed dress with even a different printed sweater. I think this red flannel tunic would look really cool with a this striped sweater on top paired with boots. In my opinion, if things are the same vibe / color scheme, you can totally have fun with the different textures, print and styles.

I rounded up some other folk & boho inspired looks below for some inspo!

Why are your ads blocking articles I am trying to read? There is no way to x-out of the ad. They are nothing but an annoyance and I certainly don’t make me want to buy anything you might be selling.
