Hi guys! It is official, New York Fashion week has come to end. It was such a fun week and the energy of the city is always amazing and contagious.
Above all else, I truly love seeing all the designers (new & old) showcase their hard, beautiful and unique work. Being able to participate in fashion week has always been a dream of mine since I was young.
So, it may sound silly to some, but there are moments within the past couple years where I feel like the whole thing is so surreal. It excites me and I love taking you guys with me! THANK YOU for helping me get here.
During this fashion week, I partnered up with with eos! This is a lip balm that I have always loved and they just came out with this new crystal formula – it is superrrr light but still hydrating and it is one of the things I ALWAYS use before putting on any kind of lip color. I use it as a base with some concealer to act as a bit of a primer before adding my bold lip color. Because I normally always wear matte lipstick (that tends to get dry throughout the day) I also use the eos lip balm to touch up the color which does wonders!
My go-to beauty look this fashion week was a bronzed & dewy look with usually a red, orange or hot pink lip. I kept my eyes simple because I really wanted to focus on the bold lip with the help of eos.
Now, let’s chat about the FASHION. Here are some trends I noticed at throughout the week:
- See – Through! Both on the streets and on the runway (which I love because I seriously have been so drawn to sheer, transparent anything as of late) & ironically, eos‘ new crystal formula that I have been using is also see-through…love it!
- Suits, Suits & more Suits – Obsessed. I love that designers are starting to elevate the suit, too. I saw lots of luxe looking suits (think sequin or sparkled) that can also be worn as evening wear which makes for a good alternative to your normal evening dress.
- HOT Pink + ORANGE – & lots of it. Not sure how I feel about rocking all hot pink, but I am excited for the hot orange. I have been loving rocking those as lip colors so I am excited to watch it all pan out.
